To them these Moments belong...

I've decided to rename my blog. The title 'To them these Moments belong...' was inspired from a song by Rise Against, 'To them these Streets belong'. One of the lines from the song reads, "What will you leave behind once you've gone?" That line says it all.

What will you do to be remembered? What will you do to make a difference in the world?

Bucket List

This past weekend I got to cross my #2 (to visit the Balto Statue in Central Park) off my Bucket List. It's also the first thing I've been able to cross off.

Test Strip

In PJ Elements today were learning some new things about photoshop. A lot of it deals with dodging and burning. Some advice we were given was to create a sheet of test strips to print before making our final prints. This one was just for fun.

2D Color Wheel

In my 2D Design class this quarter our first project is to create a color wheel using color-aid. Now if you don't know what color-aid is, you can buy them in expensive packs of up to 300 different hues and shades to create things such as this. We're being taught a lot about proportion and balancing hues with their compliments and tints.

Homeward Bound

Last week for Thanksgiving I didn't have the luxury of going home because this week I'm going home for the weekend. My brother is getting married this Sunday and I couldn't be more excited.

Goodbye Fall Quarter

Fall quarter of my sophomore year is now over as Thanksgiving rounds the corner. This lovely sunset appeared on the friday before break. Soon the snow will set in and days like these won't occur too often. I for one am excited for snow, but all my friends dread the long months ahead of us. They just don't understand that when you grow up in L.A. your whole life you never get to see the seasons change from beautiful fall leaves to a light snow fall. Living on the East Coast definitely has me appreciating the wonders of nature a lot more than I used too.
